From photography, to logo and book design, illustration and movies. Can you tell I enjoy learning new things on my off time?
I have won 3 photography contests prior to 2010, two of which resulted in books being printed in them.
In 2006 Symantec Photo Contest, I won $100 dollars in the animal category with the photo above.
In 2008 Flickr launched a contest in Mexico to celebrate a year of local operation in the country; the contest received over 28,000 submissions, one of which was mine.
In 2009 El Mexico de Los Mexicanos (Mexican's Mexico) was an international contest where Fomento Cultural Banamex (the arts and culture arm of a then popular bank in Mexico) had an open call for photos across Mexico. Resulting in over 70,000 submissions an only 125 photos being selected. One of which was mine.
In 2016 I was approached by credit Suisse to give the exclusive rights of one of my photos to be the cover photo of their book Mexico Monumental (Monumental Mexico).
